Full Time - Day 16

Took the shuttle to Hammond to play in the $60 tournament, did alright but did not make it to the final table. The best part of the day was walking along the lake after the tournament, day was cool but first blue sky in a long while, it won't last but it is amazing that a blue sky can still show up in 2019, the clean sky is going extinct.

Walked to the library in the evening to study chess. Someone surprisingly took the reference book Chess Scandals, not a problem because I was only a few games away from the end, and I happened to be synchronized with those final games in the Learn From Your Defeats book and tonight I finished the Karpov/Korchnoi games, so moving on to a new book in the next session.
