Walked 3 blocks to 70 E Lake street for a 2:00 pm interview at Global Foodbank Group, talked with the finance/accounting director for 2 hours, it went alright, only part I drew a blank was when he asked about accrual vs cash accounting, which are concepts I read about years ago but had no need to remember due to a clerk doing grunt work rather than the heavy lifting of creative accounting management. Due to the interview lasting two hours, which means I had to talk quite a bit, I am 99% certain I will not be offered the job based on past interviews where I talked much to no avail. When interviews are short and the interviewer does most of the talking is when I have good chances of being offered a job, most likely due to my thoughts having a rather isolated style and this certainly rubs people the wrong way. The less I say the better it goes.
No chess study today because of the interview. I plan to study chess tomorrow at the library.
I cleaned the condo today.
