Had a decent 4 mile run this morning at the Pharmacy Gardens, then in the afternoon I walked to a local computer shop and printed various travel documents (flight tickets, Bangkok maps, airbnb home instructions), 9 sheets for 9b, a budget friendly price. On my walk to the print shop I was approached by a young man, 18-22 I am guessing, and he asked for money. During my last trip to Chiang Mai I was approached twice, once by a down and out old man, and the second time while sitting on a temple grounds bench, and two teens who were looking frisky asked for cash. Today I gave the guy 20b, although I was foolish enough to take out my money pouch to retrieve the 20b, he could have easily grabbed it and ran and I would have lost 300b along with the condo key, but I was lucky and the man gave a thankful wai and seemed happy enough.
