Both of my pens have mysteriously disappeared, so I decided to walk to Hardy's this morning. I was looking forward to seeing the taxi stand with the chess board but there is construction on that street and the stand is no longer there. I was able to purchase two pens at Hardy's, so mission accomplished.
Rash is still causing discomfort and not allowing for decent sleep. Regardless, tomorrow I will attempt to get up at 5:30am and run 4-6 miles. Sweating may cause short term pain but it will also help flush the nasty chemicals out of my skin.
Food in Bali is more expensive than Thailand so I was having trouble staying under budget due to the $19 taxi ride spent on my first day in Bali, but I was able to come in with a $4 surplus, not as pleasing as the $30 I was saving per week in Thailand but this week should be a bit easier to be under $90.
