My body has tuned itself to the morning songbirds, a few minutes before they begin singing I wake up and wonder about my dreams as the darkness of the room has me questioning the time and my intuition then nudges me to get up and check my watch and soon I am washing my face and getting into my running clothes and out the door into the murky glow of soon to be sunrise and I run along the streets to the beach path and keep moving forward until I arrive at the Hindu Temple. Covered 7 miles for today's run, my body has improved its fitness since arriving in Bali.
I discovered by chance today the history of the odd barn structure which is 1/4 mile from the Hindu Temple. It is a part of a never completed amusement/theme park, it is now a ghost town with decayed buildings which are fading away into the jungle. I may take a look at the grounds on one of my runs if I am feeling adventurous, as pythons and alligators are said to guard the area.
