Good energy today, woke up at 5:45am and quickly dressed so that I could walk to the beach and make photographs of the sunrise, I then walked back to the apartment to drop the camera off and then walked back to the beach to exercise. Total walking time was 4 hours so I must have covered quite a bit of ground. Probably too much because in the evening I walked to Metasari beach to photograph the sunset and I felt a blister developing on my right little toe. When I got back to the apartment I tried to lance the blister with the only knife in the kitchen but the blade is so dull that I had trouble breaking the skin. I then decided on using a nail clipper to bust the skin open but this is risky because too much skin could get torn away and it would take a long time to heal over. Even though I was able to rip some of the skin away I am not sure if I went deep enough because I did not feel any fluid releasing from the blister, and if the fluid is retained it will only get worse until it is properly lanced. I will take tomorrow off and relax with no running and as little walking as possible and then see if the blister is reduced and if not I will have to go on a scavenger hunt for a needle.
